This is a short and specific Athearn News to advise you of two striking Genesis F Units that will be available this fall. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- First, a SPECIAL, EXCLUSIVE production run. We are making a special Chicago Great Western F5A-F5B lash-up that will be available ONLY from Lombard Hobbies in Lombard, IL. For more info, contact Lombard Hobbies at lombardhobbies@yahoo.com or by phone, (630) 620-1084. (Hey! Please don't contact us here at Athearn about these units. Really! If the photo gets you going, see you local dealer as soon as humanly possible to get these beauties reserved! http://www.athearn.com/newsletter/080106/Gen_F7_M&STL_061306.jpg http://www.athearn.com/newsletter/080106/Gen_F7_M&STL_061306.pdf --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, last item of business for today. We have been hearing there are some rumors circulating about new products that we are going to have next year. We'll clarify them next week, so watch for the next Athearn News for that information. That's it for today. The folks at Athearn Trains
I got that too. unfortunately, I had to go to their site to figure out if these were N scale or HO scale. neigher the links nor the newsletter specified. They are HO.
Maybe they will have some news next week at the n scale convention in Denver. Will let you know if any thing is said. Alan
The Genesis F's are HO scale, based off the Highliners' tooling. They've never done an F-unit in N. They likely didn't make any distinction to scale since that is fairly common knowledge.
