A video of a train passing around the whole layout to better illustrate how it looks. Normally we run as staging to layout, from either direction, but can have through trains passing.
Like the expansion and the around-the-room running! I foresee operation with several trains running on & offstage from that staging area opposite from Andersley. Plus, folks just like to see the trains run round & round (especially the little ones). Well done, sir!
Thanks Bob. Don't do continuous running much, but can be handy for letting locomotives stretch their legs. Can let them run around whilst I am at the workbench Once it was just a switching layout with just one locomotive in use, now we can get triple-headers passing through!
Three units head an eastbound manifest through Andersley. The lead unit will be re-lettered for Santa Fe.
Very nice Alan; I think buying the Santa Fe unit instead of changing the BNSF unit was the wisest option.
Yes, much easier, also this one has sound and working ditch lights which the BNSF one had not. Saved me trying to match the red and silver paints and ordering decals from Microscale. Now I can sell the BNSF one so the cost difference is not too much extra.
