A little teaser on the main line. It will take more than a little cleaning to get it to work. I got my work cut out for me on that upper line to the logging camp. Laters

Sorry i haven't been here for a bit. My wife is having ongoing surgery's. She has another tomorrow. I also have been doing the spring cleaning on the truck. Will let you know how it goes. It looks good so far. We just had our 29th year anniversary so that was somewhat fun. Maybe in a few days i can get back to the layout. I haven't even run trains! I'm a bad boy!! Laters all, Smoke

Hope she gets well soon, Joe, This is number 2 of 3.Well, She seems to be a bit better than yesterday. She keeps wanting to scratch at the stitches, She isn't, but that site is bugging her all the time. Keeping it covered to keep her from doing it when she is sleeping. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. Maybe by the weekend i may be able to do something on the layout. She is doing some things with her hobby, so i may be able to as well. I am so tired from keeping a eye on her, that i just want to sleep. Its hard to do that with whats happening to her. Will see whats happening a bit later. Dan

I didn't do anything on the rr but run some engines around the line. Still keeping a eye on her yet. Have to go back Tuesday to remove the stitches. And then the end of the month she will have another one and hope she will be ok after that one. Laters all

Sad to keep reading about those 44 toner Bachmann's. I wanted to get one for the switch to HO but had to waylay that. Now looking at N and haven't seen any small engines there. Oh well.
Hope things go well at your house.

I think BLI and Atlas are the only ones in N scale that have switchers. There are NW-2's and S-2's. Both are sound, but you can get the S-2 in there silver thats DC. You need a dcc decoder for it. Don't ask me how i know that, But i think thats all thats out there right now thats new. Old models can be found on facebook and ebay, Buyer beware. Best of luck, later fellow

Thats right Jake! Spring has sprung. hehe One other thing is i have pretty much broke the 44 toner in running it both back and forwards. seems to be a good runner. gonna take it up to the logging camp as a switcher for that camp.

My hands are feeling much better today. It only..took 4 days to stop hurting and un-swell so i can work on the little NW-2. I have it all soldered and heat wrapped. It worked good both ways and i have it halfway into the engine, but really crammed in tight there. Gonna take a bit to get it installed. Getting the lights in the right place is another thing. I will figure it out. yeah..that:eek:

A couple of shots of the new loco. I have the lights glued in and the front axle wires glued down. I need to really figure out how to fit all that in a little NW-2!! I think the lights from Evens are for HO and not N. Shots below.

Deb is doing great, and my truck is fixed I am working on a shield for the GPS. The one that came with it is too small. I am slowly getting the engine wiring done. Getting the wiring all shrink wrap,so i can glue it into the engine so i can make it fit. Its gonna be tight!!

I used heat wrap with stupid glue for all the wiring. I had checked the lights and direction and put it together and when i ran it the front light don't work. The rear works perfect. Now have to take it apart and try and figure what went wrong. Shots below. I still have chevrons and other markings to do yet. The engine runs perfect! Just wish i didn't have to take it all apart again..
