They are over priced! Even with shipping! They are $46 with free shipping elsewhere on eBay coming from Japan even with $24.48 and $12 shipping. Plus they are non powered only for display. Although you can buy the motor, chassis and trailer chassis (sold separately). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Glad I don't need one, and it's marked down!! https://www.ebay.com/itm/334375006651?epid=888163253&hash=item4dda4db1bb:g:jtIAAOSw0T9iOdVZ
Trainz is a reputable company I've dealt with in the past. Their main focus is Lionel / O gauge trains, but they also sell other scales including N scale. I believe this is a typo on their part and I've sent them a message about the price of the Kato crossing. Hopefully they'll have the price corrected otherwise they may owe someone a big refund
Hi Jim, Yes I missed that. I did get a reply from my original email I sent them, telling me they are looking into it. I guess I'll probably get another reply telling me the price is for 10 crossing. Looking at their listing again, I now see they have 60 crossing available, being sold in 10 crossing bundles.
The quantity isn't always obvious ! Years ago I accidentally bought 16 Life Like PB1's. The bay ad was titled "Life Like PB1 undec dummy for N scale" ......... so I bought 4. It should have said "Life Like PB1 undec dummy N , Quantity 4" The detailed description simply said "Undecorated, not powered, no box". 16 PB1's later I have more than enough to model all my SP PB's.
Looking at this one Bachmann N Scale EMD F9 Diesel Locomotive Santa Fe No. 4646 w/Rolling Stock | eBay , I would say $5.00 to $15. 00...Not $64.99. Nor this N scale Engine Locomotive AHM 4523 Burlington Red | eBay at $65.00. These ebay sellers have to be kidding! Tom
Atlas N Scale 2173 GP-40 Burlington Locomotive 989 | eBay Is not a 2000's production run ATLAS GP40. Wow..That is one of the CLEANEST a1g GP40's ! a1g- ATLAS FIRST GENERATION- . Tom
Sadly, this is too often true. And contradicting this is the description they used for "Condition", above there= "Used: An item that has been used previously. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended. This item may be a floor model or store return that has been used. See the seller’s listing for full details and description of any imperfections." (Emphasis added by me.) Also, a broken step is not simply "cosmetic wear."
The Roofless Locomotives Athearn HO B&O Chessie System 3547 Locomotive For Parts Or Repair! | eBay seem to be Creeping into other scales as well . Tom
Now that my layout is nearing completion...I need to go through all the 'junk boxes' under the layout. I can open a new Ebay account and just roll in the dough that will be coming in !
Knowing this one is not ebay , Love how some attempt to give a Description. -see description and photo... This is no wide vision caboose. I say the seller has no concept of aWide Vision Caboose is. Tom
