I checked out his site. Good news...He has some mirrors for trucks.... Bad news...As far as I can tell he only takes PayPal.... .
You could probably email him and see if he would take a money order. Probably what I will do whenever I decide to get another one of his models. Over the last couple of years, I have gotten several trailers and one modern garbage truck from Royale Models and all have been excellent and easy enough to paint and assemble.
yea, his bank really messed him up when he had a merchant account. He is really too small of a business to afford what his bank was charging him. Do you have any other pay methods? You can message me this, I know John personally so I can see if I can help you get what’s needed.
I wish Kato would make a 6-5 sleeper for the California Zephyr so I can run a consist that's correct for more than its first three years of operation.
Sticking to my main interest of D&RGW: Baldwin VO-660 Fairbanks Morse H10-44 Krauss Maffei ML 4000 All of these are available from Shapeways, but, they are not very well formed... with somewhat brittle and rough surfaces and the chassis' needed are not quite right for them either. An aspen gold 4 stripe FTA with the angled nose number board... Intermountain used the 'as delivered ' body style for this version. FT units on a yard lead being passed by F7 units.
A 3D printed model of my house... Actually, Marc from 1One60Mo3DLs on Etsy has undertaken that project and should have a prototype later this week. I can then add it to the residential area of my NorCal layout. Ron
Skynet Aoshima apartments kit. There's a lot of buildings I am looking forward to trying to make myself, this has waaaay too many tiny and identical parts - I get itchy just thinking about how it would have to go. Older kit that I've always liked, never imagined would be this difficult to track one down.
All, Here's one freight car , Boxcar that got away from me ... all because of the Comic strips Characters last name! Lol Tom
Honestly, I understand. I guess it's a good thing that the hobby has so much variety, but it seems like normal and mundane cars are overlooked in favor of obscure and outrageous schemes. Even in HO scale, the number of tank cars and hoppers with big company logos on them is insane. Whatever happened to regular data-only cars? They make up the majority of the fleet, and you need mundane cars for a realistic layout. Not every hopper needs a giant chemical company logo and not every tank car needs a corn syrup brand on it. When will Athearn and Atlas learn this? I get that fantasy schemes and Heritage units sell, but there are so many run-of-the-mill cars out there that deserve attention too.
I finally got it the olympic gevo from fox valley. Now im waiting for someone to tell me that there are more than one number
Many years ago there were various centerbeam varieties created by Red Caboose. There were TTX models made in the plain yellow... but most were of other branded products (Boise Cascade, Weyerhauser... etc). They may be as scarce as hen's teeth... since they have not been re-released in over a decade.
