A few weeks ago, a CP train 149 went on the ground east of Minot. This unit went off-roading, and was stashed in the roundhouse track in Minot on 9 June. From a downtown street, a CP J75 local leaves Minot in the late evening on 16 June.

From April 1985 at Montgomery, AL. CRR 3617 is an SD-45-2, one of eighteen purchased by the road. She last served on the MRL as their 301 and was scrapped 2014.
While in Alaska earlier this month, I got to watch all kinds of trains around the Anchorage depot. Passenger train pulling out to the north bound for Denali and Fairbanks. A string of high level excursion cars on the tail end.
Tuesday's NS 6K4 was led by 8025, the Monongahela heritage unit, past the ex-Reading Wernersville, PA, station.
That's going to take a tad more than some buffing, putty and paint touch-ups... It's downright mangled! Nice! Great catch!
Nothing like a good bit of mud bogging! A better choice of vehicle would have made it more fun, though!
