Cool photos so far, guys! First idea that popped into my brain: Amtrak 304's paint job looks like a design made for a sports jersey. VIA's P42s are a bit ragged and long in the tooth... That paint scheme doesn't help! About time they changed for the new Chargers.
Late afternoon November sun picks out the can opener on CR 2233 in the darkened Locomotive and Rolling Stock Hall. The Museum remains open Wednesday to Saturday, 10AM to 4PM, Sunday, 12 noon to 4PM.
From April 1984 at Tuscaloosa, AL, the 8271 remains in IC paint. Rebuilt by the IC at Paducah, KY, she's former FEC GP-9 671.
There's paint under all that rust? More than likely, it's the remaining paint that keeping it together. Don't sneeze too hard at it.
