Yuppers Like I tried to illustrate with mountain #1. It is the furthest away. The mountain arrangement reminds me of go north out of Vegas on 95. Mountains in front of mountains...in front of mountains...in front of mountains....in front of.................... as far as you can see.
That will look great George!! And the changes you have made look great, t'boot! Now, about them fajitas........the WIFE must make great ones! But you ARE biased, (rightfully so,) so maybe we all need a sample so we can let you, and her, know what our honest opinions are???!!!!!
I REALLY like this layout. It has a GREAT balance of track and scenery, the track plan looks like a lot of fun. You really pulled it off, I only hope to get mine this nice.
You all remember the 1/8 inch Masonite I cut for mountains at the back of THERR RV. Well the weather cooperated today And I took it out and painted it today ! Just a note here: There is NO OD Green on my mountains... The paint is from the crafts section at Walmart. It is called 'Christmas Green'... https://www.walmart.com/ip/Apple-Ba...p.ds&msclkid=28bc06ce124118618be6632f1d2cb793 I even glued a communication tower on top of the nearest mountain, I It looks like I may have to pop the tower off and level it out... You know what they say George? Happy Wife, Happy Life. Yeah, I think you need at least one or two steamers on your layout George... Surely you can find a place to put scrap yard somewhere with them being introduced to a cuttin torch?
The backdrop looks good!! I have it on good authority that "The WIFE" likes a bit of steam on the layout, of course!
I recently had an interesting discussion with a good friend of mine here in town. He came by and I took him out to THERR RV and showed him my latest mountain/hills addition. He said "I like the 'hills' you made." That got me thinking. Are they really 'hills' or are they 'mountains' ? I found my answer online... https://differencify.com/hill-vs-mountain/ .
