I talked to Mike and they decided he will not be going home. With his limited use of his arms, and right now zero use of anything below the waist, it would be too difficult for his parents to move him around. (He also has a colostamy bag and a 9 by 3 inch wound from the surgery that has some kind of sponge and tubes to drain while it is healing. It has to be changed regularly. He told me the name of the set-up, but I cant rememeber right now.) He is disappointed but knows right now it is for the better. He again said he misses everyone here and wants me to make sure I let you all know he said Hello. He said it may be several more months before he will be released. Also, his birthday is Tuesday, and he is hoping his parents can get some decent food from his favorite resturant in to him.
Wow, that must be such an ordeal. I hope you conveyed the many well wishes he has received here. Hang in there Mike!
Hey, He's a day older than me! Or not. Jerry, could you PM me his address, if you have it? I'd like to send him a card and a note. I have a nice E-L one I'm sure will cheer him up. Hey that age thing up in the corner should not change until tomorrow !!!!!!!!!!
