http://www.ebay.com/itm/271245195091?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Originally listed at $800, now down to $700. Cool stuff, but seems a bit pricey......
http://www.ebay.com/itm/HO-VIRGINIA...961901?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item4610c38d6d I don't even know what to say about this one....
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Athearn-HO-...386199?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item2c7221e9d7 the bad news? your ho collection was burned in a fire. the good news? sell it on ebay as "heavily weathered"

Slightly pricey for a bunch of older items. It even includes some of that elusive double-sized HO! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Huge-Model-..._RR_Trains&hash=item4ac952a43c#ht_1779wt_1091
At least one of the Lionel ALCo units has a broken apron. That drops value down through the basement.
Slightly pricey? I might give $50 for it, but probably not.....but then again it's ebay......
I was talking with my wife this past Sunday, about how far down hill that auction site has gone. I showed her some of the links here. Told her about the single N rail joiner sales, etc. She was laughing like crazy....
Really easy. Estate seller, no idea what he or she has, clueless on trains.....an Athearn GN boxcar in a New Haven F7A box. Fortunately, went for only $8.50 plus exorbitant shipping. Dave

Evidently, this four year old and "long discontinued" Athearn RTR boxcar is worth this much.hboy: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Athearn-891...633808?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item485caf3dd0
Well, if it was the actual car built by PACCAR, maybe it would be worth that? I have a very hard time believing the numbers of four digit prices we keep seeing, for one and two digit items.
Looks like a mistake on the seller's part. $19.95 sounds like a more reasonable price...must have left the "." out.
