Some more progress on the C415 Next job on it is the steps. Also got my smallest loco out for a run. It has been a few years since this turned a wheel! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Just a single photo of today's progress. Building stepwells is not my favourite thing. I will add the jacking pads to the side sill after I get the replacement side frames. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Thanks ☺ I enjoy making substandard models (or in this case totally inaccurate in almost every single way) into more closer to prototype models. But I am sure than as soon as I get it finished Bowser will announce one. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Next project under way. I won't give to much away on the builds so you will have to wait to see how they develop. Starting off with 4 Mehano C628's, these have been disassembled and have started prepping the chassis by removing all unwanted and incorrect details. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
One of the chassis was made out of a totally different plastic and was so brittle the walkway shattered when cutting off the air tanks. Lucky I have a spare chassis I will use for C628 number 4. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Thanks Chet. The C415 has stalled until I can get the new Hi Ad sideframes. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
A small update on my C628 Project The basic chassis modifications have been done, work on the pilots next before detailing the frame and chassis. I have just placed the new cab and nose in the rough position to give an idea what I am doing with these... Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Wow Matt, that might be a pictorial euphemism for a lot of model railroad dreams. Hope this means new stuff coming....
