Previously there were plans discussed to move the event to a better location. Springfield, OH was mentioned. What ever happened to those plans? By the way, good show. We had a lot of fun as usual. Hope to see everyone at the Altoona N Scale event on Aug 4-5th.

Finding an affordable space in the Columbus Metro Area and adjoining counties is a HUGH problem. The Lausche Building at the Ohio Expo Center would be nice, large enough for all to be in one building, but, the rental for 3 days is out of our league. Plus, the parking is $5.00 per day, no in and out. It would be nice if we could find something along the lines of the Shrine Building Mike uses in Altoona, but, in Columbus, nothing like that exists. There was a Shrine building on the East side near Easton Shipping Center, but, it closed several years ago and the lighting in it was horrible for a show, the local IPMS chapter held a show there for many years, you needed a flashlight to really view the models on display. We are trying to find ways to maximize the space available to us at the F C Fairgrounds. I am glad so many had a good time at a the show. The 11th Ohio N-scale Weekend is scheduled for May 17/18/19, 2019, planning is under way for that show. later, Craig Sonnen, secretary/registrar

I came to show from long island and it was well worth the trip even though the food truck served hot dogs on a hamburger roll! Lol. It was part of my semi annual trip to the area. Fostoria, Alliance etc. Bought many items at show, took lots of pictures for ideas for my layout. altoona in August and thanks again for great Columbus show guys!

It was a fantastic weekend with good friends, great food, and N scale galore at the 10th annual Ohio N Scale Weekend. The hosts did a great job a putting it all together. We had a great time showing the Galesburg City Job to others, sharing techniques, reacquainting with some fellow N scalers, and even switching a few cars here and there. Jim worked hard putting a switch list together. Unfortunately, I spent most of my time blabbing with fellow N scalers and did not get a lot of City Job work accomplished. Sorry Jim. But alas, talking with fellow N scalers is what its all about eh?

Here are a few photos of our layout:

    Thanks Jim!!

And thanks to the good guys at Central Ohio N Trak for putting it all together!

Nice pictures Jim. Thank you for posting them.
I hope that someday I can go to this show. In the meantime Galesburg and St. Louis will do just fine.

    Sorry Bill.
I need to go back and read the "Forgetfulness" section in the "Growing Old" brochure.
