Hi brand new to the hobby. I inherited some Unitrack and locos/cars and a 4 by 8 table. Poring over track plans, how to's and Youtube. Foremost, I am looking for a 4 x 8 Unitrack N scale plan that I can get started with just to get a feel for things. So I might have alot of silly questions as I really am clueless as of yet. But enthusiastic!
Welcome Speedrat, happy to have you on board. No question is ever silly. They may be elementary, but when you know nothing and are trying to learn, even the simplest question is never silly. Check in on the N-Scale Forum and ask away.
Welcome to TrainBoard Speedrat! When looking at plans, remember that any you see that are for a smaller space can easily be increased to fit your space by adding in a few pieces of straight track here and there. I'm a fan of Kato unitrack so you are off to a good start. It's easy to work and experiment with as well. Have fun.
There is no silly questions sometimes silly answers. Best thing with Kato track is how easy it is to put together and take apart. Easy to try different track arrangements til you find want you like. Remember to have fun modeling.
