I would like to purchase the two MT Boeing aircraft parts cars but they are $85 each on eBay. It takes three cars to ship 80,000 lbs of 747 assemblies from Tulsa OK to Evertt WA. I had the privilege to work on about 150 747 aircraft. Joe
Well it's not on my work bench, how about benchwork. Does that count? I'm working to extend the benchwork for module 01 this afternoon and after that will build overhead valence for the same module. I purchased a sheet of Masonite yesterday evening and that should do a lot of fascia and background. Have one more overhead valence for module 08 yet to build. I guess I've been in a carpenter mood lately. Haha Joe
I custom built track cleaner built from a Micro Trains Santa Fe Express Box Car that I just finished weathering. This is painted with a custom mix of Tamiya paint thinned and a mix of powders.
My freelanced railroad is getting some big power, and starting to have a uniform look! I'm thinking yellow handrails, then some very light weathering and done. The Michigan-based 1980s regional runs on ex-Pennsy rails mostly, so I wanted to incorporate the Keystone into the logo. B36-7s are pretty big (and make this specifically 1980-on), but I had two of them, so my story is they were bought partially with some money from the state to support lucrative TOFC trains across the state...but by the time the big GEs arrived, the prospect had dried up.
Found an old coal mine kit that I put together back in the mid 80's, it's missing some of the roof. I think it's the first kit that I purchased when started N scale in 1984 Joe
It’s Masonite, I got it of feebay. Bought it as a kit drilled my own car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
