That's pretty interesting; a Humvee seems like a pretty good way to get into the HO market, especially considering they have already done the same model in N scale. I wonder how the details will compare to other HO military vehicles like Roco Minitanks or Trident. The one thing holding back HO military modelers is a lack of flat cars. There are 6-axle DODX flats from Union Terminal Imports, but I have never seen a model of the 89' flats that make up a majority of military movements. Athearn and Walthers both have 89' flats, but they have hitches for TOFC; I wonder how difficult it would be to convert those models into vehicle-loading variants. There are steel and wood deck cars, but both of them have tie-down tracks in the center of the car similar to OTTX and HTTX flats. This would be a pretty difficult part to kitbash. Without an 89' flat car, I'm not sure how well these Micro Trains models will sell. Maybe this will encourage another brand to start working on more military rolling stock.
