Am an 86-year-old, recovering from a stroke, and thought I understood what I had to do. My power source is 18-volt ac, and wiring is for six switches. Can anyone supply a simple diagram for my wiring of the 3-point toggle switches. and connections to power. Forty years younger, I might have the ability, but much challenged now. My road runs on NCE dcc. Thankyou
How you wire these switches depends on what you intend to use them for. Is it for a reversing loop, or two cab control with center off (which would be similiar for toggling between DC and DCC power sources). Can you give a little more information on how you plan to use the switches? Thanks.
Hi Albert and welcome to TrainBoard. Your Peco track switches likely require momentary contact toggle switches or momentary contact pushbuttons. If your toggle switches stay in place after being thrown, they'll burn out the solenoids in your Peco track switches. Best wishes for a solid recovery from your stroke.
