Does anyone know where I could find traction tires for an Atlas RS-11, the Kato/Atlas release from 1995? I have a locomotive and it's rubber band broke during cleaning of the trucks.

Just wondering for the day when this happens to me, would Bullfrog Snot work as a temporary solution?

I've never used it, no idea how to even apply it, but it seemed expensive to me. I've bookmarked the store above, seems like the perfect store for this. But I have to see how much they charge for shipping to Canada, couldn't see this at a quick check of the website.

Yes that is what Bullfrog Snot was designed for. Need a sharp pointed tool and the wheel rotating slowly to apply just a very small drop to the hollow recess that the traction tire fit into. Do not fill above the level of the traction tire slot in the wheel. Let the wheel continue to rotate until the Bullfrog Snot changes color to a nice green. Then set loco aside for a day to let cure well. If for any reason you did not get the Snot up to the right level you can apply another light coat right on top again with loco wheels turning slowly. Bullfrog Snot is a permanent fix. I bought a bottle 15 years ago and it is still good.

Bullfrog snot is some really good stuff ! I had applied some to one axle of a traction deficient old life like (?) GP20. It outlasted the locomotive that now sits on the 'dead line'. (y)
