Price: US $39.95 Really... see photo 1 (u8) , I think more like $ 22.00 if shipper uses his own box the example see photo 2 (u9) . It may drop the cost of shipping in one of those - U. S. P. S. PRIORITY MAILING BOXES.

Move the decimal point one place to the left and still it ain't worth it.

That 2-8-2 is subject to zirmac rot. The power chassis could turn to powder in your hands any day; not to mention that horrid RR three pole can motor. It is worth twenty five bananas on a good day.

The B&O 0-4-0 was not bad for what it was in its day but still, it is worth perhaps thirty five bananas on a good day.

That Davenport is worth ten dollars on a good day. The older B-mann versions of these and all of the other versions from the various manufacturers were horrid.

The VERY last cardboard box issues and the plastic box issues, both from B-mann, are not bad. The last cardboard box versions are still subject to the gear cracking, though. As far as I know, the plastic box versions are not subject to gear cracking. In fact, I swapped plastic box wheelsets for cardboard box wheelsets and it works well. I put the cracked gear wheelsets into the dummy, as it does not care about cracked gears. Even they need help with the contact. I use either an electrically live JNR brakeman's van or a dummy Davenport (bought some of these for five dollars each at a show. They had bad motors) hardwired to the powered unit.

Do not be surprised. Those ore jennies from the various manufacturers fetch some pretty good prices on FeePay. I have gotten as much as fifteen dollars apiece for them. They were bid up from my opening bid of what was five dollars apiece. I listed them in three, five or six car lots with opening bids of fifteen, twenty-five or thirty dollars the lot, respectively. I had a large number of them. Some lots were bid up as high as forty-five, seventy five and ninety dollars the lot, respectively.

The just under six dollars shipping is not bad, relatively. It always does escape me how people sell single freight or even passenger cars on FeePay. Unless it is a hard to find car that commands a high price, the shipping would make the purchase not worth it. If I listed ordinary freight or pasenger cars, I always sold them in lots of at least three; usually five or ten.

Not exactly -crazy bay- think it'll do. The $ building kits are getting out of hand that those who are on a budget , may not be able to afford them in any scale.

Is this the old Con-Cor release? Or something else?

Yes, I think it's a Con-Cor C-636 body jammed in place on a chassis of something much shorter.

A woefully out of scale C-636 I had one. The actual loco was a huge beast the model way too small and too short.
