While I am working on correcting all the rookie mistakes I made on my first attempt at photo-etch, I have a limited number of models for sale, not as kits but assembled and painted. See my post on the new products forum: https://www.trainboard.com/highball/index.php?threads/dodge-power-wagon-tow-trucks.140154/
The new artwork for the tow truck PE is done and will be going out to the Czech Republic next week for fabrication. 56 sets on one brass sheet about 6" by 4".
An update on the tow truck kits. The photo etch sets are done and have been shipped to me from Europe. I expect to be able to ship out kits around the end of November.
Nicely done, Eric. I'm looking forward to them. Every service station or garage needs one. I think they will look great with a car on the hook. Jim
Production of the tow truck kit will start Monday. I have a couple of photos here of the finished build using the new photo-etch set. Also I want to mention this is the most complicated truck kit I have ever produced, so I have attached the PDF instruction sheet here so you can get an idea of what's involved in the build.
Agreed with everyone else. That tow/wrecker truck is really nice. It’s nice to see so many sources coming to the table and providing vehicles for Z-scale.
The other 1955 Chevy truck in the package. The set will be released any day now, check the new products thread.
