Two South Carolina postcards as found by my father-in-law some years ago. The Columbia Union Station card is postmarked 11/17/1922 and the Jonesville card 06/24/1911. Tiny Jonesville is located on NS's W Line between Columbia and Spartanburg. Postage on both was just a penny. Built in 1902 to serve the SOU and ACL., Columbia's Union Station stands today in use as a restaurant.
Postmarked 12/23/1937 at Tucson, AZ is this envelope no doubt penned aboard the SP's Argonaut. How neat to think that attention to detail in railroad passenger service once included custom stationary. The sender lived in Delavan, WI, the recipient in Selma, AL.
