My layout's resident photographer was in the right place and the right time. He caught the elusive SP BL-2 in action Thanks, Wolf
Good morning from cloudy, cool and rainy Northeast Ohio! I did nothing this past week, what with the bowling tournament and getting my wife ready to go to Pasadena for my daughters 40th birthday. So I will post a couple of my old Strongsville Club layout pictures. A pair of Bowser C430's with a Flexivan Train!! A pair of heavily modified Atlas RS-32's with a general freight!! Have a great weekend! Rick Jesionowski
Just waiting on a train...... Got the smaller scale backdrops installed behind the bridge, and like them much better,
Here we have a DRGW/SP train drifting down grade, coming out of tunnel 5 on the layout. The DRGW 3129 was among the last GP40-2's delivered to the Rio Grande. 5 units and 65 cars. Going past a farm.

I managed to acquire some super conducting magnets and have been playing around with developing a linear motor drive system for model trains. I may have to increase the super elevation on my curves.
With a nice park with benches to sit on and watch the ladies go by in their best finery (while waiting for the next show at the burlesque house).
