The number boards are just decals. They won't light up.

Lighting was done by Robert. He also tweaked the electrical connections to make it run smoother. Still waiting for my Micro Trains couplers to come in, so I can install them! That’s the last thing that needs to be done!

Finally have my Boise Cascade 44ton engine done. Even the light on roof works, which stays on. Engine runs great on my layout. Thanks to Robert for helping me getting the model to run great, along with the lighting! IMG_0361.jpeg

The bacon working must be awesome! You know that begs question…what was the reason some locomotives had one?

Amtrak.jpg I finished putting in the lights for my Amtrak passenger cars (for now) bringing the total to 5 (1 diner, 3 coaches, and 1 Viewliner). They're currently being pulled by a NY Central PA/B-1 pair because the lights have a lot of rolling resistance and I only have one Amtrak P42 due to burning out the motor on the other one. So, a modern locomotive consist isn't going to happen until I get a replacement motor (AZL replacement motors seems to be a different size). My Amtrak E8A pulls it OK, but this works much better. The Viewliner isn't in back because I've only installed rear lights in one coach and that took far longer than I would like due to me not being able to get the right bend in the light tubes. If anybody has any ideas on how to get that to work, I'm all ears. It's too late for that Viewliner, but I've got another one to install lights in if need be.

Drken the lighting is very cool indeed! I’m also curious as to what your layout is going to look like because your configuration looks interesting from that picture.

The lighting is Digitrax signals. There will eventually be regular street lights (from Atlas) up too, but I'm having issues getting the new DCC Arduino library to read packets, so I can't install them until I get that figured out.

The train is on the upper, passenger tracks that's a separate track from the lower one. It's a simple rectangle with 270mm corners and a couple of ladder yards for stations. The lower tracks are a bit more complicated and are for freight. You can see my Erie-Lackawanna F7A/B to the left on the lower tracks.

Just finished my TR4 Cow and Calf in Santa Fe color scheme. These have been a challenge. The Calf motor and mechanism went together well. However the Cow motor and mechanism was a challenge and disappointment. I couldn’t get it to work. Even Robert couldn’t get the Rokuhan power truck to work. All we could think of was there is a problem in the gear box. Decision was made to have the Cow become a Dummy unit! The Rokuhan can be very finicky to work with!
A big thanks goes to Robert in finishing up the directional lighting for both units. Took both units home on my layout and tried them out. The Calf had problems going around curves! Had to trim Down the side truck frames on one set of trucks. Now they both go around the layout with no problems. The only thing with the Rokuhan motor mechanism is that they can only pull around 2-3 cars! IMG_0374.jpeg IMG_0371.jpeg
