Here are Lance's scale on my layout, one outside the A&P and one outside the Vegetable Garden produce market. Well done Lance! Enjoy, John
SWEET John.... They look right at home. And funny, but the era you are working on is just about the time when these scales started their slow fade into obscurity.... But glad that we can capture them in Z-scale.
Thanks Len, and indeed share your work if you are so inclined. Glad to see these prints are a motivating force....
Lance, Sumner, over in the 3D section is printing N scale lumber piles. He shares his files. If you're board , you can print some in Z. https://www.trainboard.com/highball/index.php?threads/n-scale-stacks-of-lumber.154279/ Scott
Thanks Scott and I just checked out what that link you sent. I need to spend more time in that forum. Indeed, those lumber piles are nice and would be a great addition to anyone doing a sawmill scenario. On that note, I was also looking at doing some tie stacks, as I know they had been produced in the past by NZT PRODUCTS (David K. Smith), but that was back in 2014. Tie stacks are on my mile long "TO-DO-LIST".
Lance, Catching up on the forum here. Your 3D printing looks great. Just like the factory building you shared which really got me hooked on Z. Thanks and keep up this great work! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks Tiest, and glad to see you’re back on the forum. And as I recall, some of your work was impressive. Hope to see more. I guess one could say Z-scale is the drug and I’m a dealer — if you got hooked on it due to something I built. Now I’ve just gotta figure out a way to capitalize on your addiction.
