A few of you have asked me how to get some of my designs for their layout when you don't have a printer. There is now a way. I've worked with Shapeways support techs the past week and have enough models up to give this a go. I've kept my markup extremely low so most of the cost you see is all Shapeways to pass the savings on to the buyer. You can now order printed copies of my designs from Shapeways. Well, this endeavor turned out to be a bust. On the first order Shapeways said details are too fine to print and the MOW designs have been removed. The changes they want would ruin the model. Envision N Scale 6-inch-thick forearms on figures and 12-inch-thick handrails. It floors me that my $150 resin printer can out print a big company. If anyone knows of a vendor that can host and print resin designs for others, I'd like to hear about it.
