Does anyone have any info as to whether MRC intends to offer a wireless throttle option for their Prodigy Advanced DCC System? For the money is seems pretty feature-rich, but the lack of wireless walk-around capability is the show-stopper for me at this point. Thanks Mike C Phoenix Az
I don't have any info but with their track record of DCC product life cycle I wouldn't count on the PA to have an upgrade. Too bad cause it seems like a nice system.
I am in the middle of rebuilding my layout, but just running the engines back and forth is still fun. I have never used DCC until last week, the system was so simple that I was up and running in minutes. You can do more complex operations with the system as you become familiar with it. A tethered cab is fine as I don't want any kind of noise affecting my loco mounted wireless cam.
