Has anyone super detailed an athearn sd70 or sd70m with details west's detail kit? If so can they post detailed pictures of the left fuel tank and pretty much the whole thing. Details west being a deail compnay is very vague in their directions and illistrations! Thankx all

See those pics are exactly what comes with the kit but the pics in the kit are black and white. And the pics at the website are not very helpful. Its funny how outragiously vauge the directiosn are, there is only a page of directions about 6x3.5 its tiny. Has anyone ever used this kit to explaine to me where and how the left side drain pipe and the fuel tank vent pipe go on the model, o and dont forget the air tank u-shaped pipe. Thnaks again
Another thought is that you could always e-mail Details West and ask them for more detailed instructions on how they did it. Here is their e-mail address detwest@aol.com. Each time I have e-mailed them I recieved a quick response and they are happy to answer any questions that you have. I hope this helps you to get the answers that you need .
Great idea bnsf, good thinkin, i have been getting sorta frustrated with this whole thing o well. Have u detailed an SD70 yet, were u satisfies with your results or not? Thanks once again
I haven't done any 70M's yet although I have 2 BNSF SD75's waiting to be done after I finish up other projects (mainly my SP SD40M-2's). I have used many DW parts on my 3 BNSF AC4400CW's that I did and I can say that it was well worth it. As soon as I get some film I will take some pictures of them and post them on here, but that will probably be a few weeks.
