Here it is Monday already, what did we get done in our world of modeling?

We'll give the NorthAmericans til tomorrow to chime in since today is a holiday, but the rest of you, well lets here it!

For me: nadda! To much happened to work on models.

I did manage to run trains a little so the spiders did't take over! - [IMG]

Have a great Holiday - :D - everyone else have a great back to work day. - [IMG]

OK, I'm gonna make my first post to these threads.

This week I built and weathered a P2K MAther 40' livestock car (sweeeet!), laid 9' of flex track on my wifes craft room table (actually, I just joined em together..LMAO) and bedded in my 2 new P2K Locos (S3 and SW8). Then disconnected it and laid out a 9' Inglenook (still just connected the bits of track together...totally unanchored) and kept the cat utterly crazy for an hour. Then continued running trains for another 7 hours.

Wired up my Atlas #6 turnouts, just to see if they worked. Then, of course, had to run trains on em for a couple hours to make sure they didnt break.

Tonight (yeah, its Monday night....but hey!) I designed a 'double inglenook' to fit in 8' x 3' using 4 team tracks and 2 livestock loading tracks, complete with warehouses and stock yards.

Cant wait till Friday to tell ya'll whats next!

No modeling this weekend. Been busy with the "last weekend of summer". We went to Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg, PA. It was a great day and we all had fun. I like Knoebels because it free to get in. You buy tickets for the rides so if you are not riding you don’t have to pay. The bad thing is it takes three hours to get there. We left here at 10:00 AM and got home after 11:00 PM. Yesterday we spent the day at the Reading Outlets.

I finished the drywall this weekend in my train room, now it's time to break out some mud.

Hrmmm, lets see. we got a nice amount of work done on the layout. Laid/glued a nice amount of roadbed down for sidings, and played around with the yard and industrial spur tracks. The layout is finally starting to come together [IMG] . I will be posting pictures in my RailImages gallery sometime tonight hopefully.

I, along with four other men, put on a train show, including four operating layouts (assembled and operated by us), clinics, vendors (including us), door prizes and more.

    I'm tired.

I think I've accomplished enough this weekend. [IMG]

I hosted my first open house/run for the LVGRS club members. I only got 12 people to attend, but those few enjoyed themselves and I sure enjoyed watching them all run their trains on my railroad.
