    Sound

If you are working in HO scale, I would say go with a Tsunami light logging decoder.
Soundtraxx has a special speaker for you to use too.
    The Sound Is GREAT!

Actually it is the On30 version.
So thats the name then? "light logging decoder" ?

Or do you have the model number etc? Also which of the many speakers were you referring to? Thanks :)

    Sorry for the delay

Sorry I did not get back to you sooner.
Soundtraxx decoder # 826020 will be for the light logging. It has several whistles that you can select.
I would use a deep base speaker if you have the room. They are 27MM in diameter and are about 3/4 inch tall or deep. Make you own enclosure. Speaker up or down your call.
I thought you might be working with HO scale- so the speaker that you use is up to you. I would use the largest one I could fit into the locomotive.

Thanks a lot for the info. :)

As for space I just took apart the area where the speaker should go and in the On30 it is less then 1/4 inch deep. I have no idea how I am going to fit a speaker into that area.

Thanks again for your help :)

    speaker

Some speakers are very skinny. You might have to machine out some weight or something to make room. Still there are speakers that are very thin.
