I could probably scratchbash one on a Kato motorized chassis, but I was wondering if anyone has made one, whether a kit, complete, or just resin castings, etc.? I'd like to model a CNJ, Erie or Lackawanna unit on my PW&NJ railroad. Thanks TBers! -Matt
I wanted to make one a while back. I drew up the body to have it etched, but never sent it out. I did get the chassis built for it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TANtWfsCQuE
Chris"send it out"? Where do you send it to? Prices, etc? Funny this subject should come up,I was just eying up CNJ 1000 this weekend, and possibly an LV boxcab or two, they had a few different ones, and their Mack switcher..
Hi, I made a NON POWERED boxcab a while ago, 10 years perhaps. I was thinking about powering it with a 44t. but I put it aside, I'm not so happy with the body anymore. By the way those are nice trucks under there Chris. Thanks, MCB
I etched the sideframes myself, stack these pieces together: And glue them up to Tomytec trucks: I'm not even sure I still have the CAD drawings for the body. I'll have to go look. I could send them to PPD.
