I agree, and I think you're right, Boxcab. There's a second video where they intentionally re-launch both engines towards a head-on collision. What a waste of a couple of probably decent engines. Anyway, this was posted as a joke, not as some sign of my ideas. This isn't me, nor my engines in the video, just another strange video found on the web.
They need to find something better for the trains to do at the other end of that point-to-point layout.
People who know me, know I don't take everything so seriously. However, I get upset when something of mine gets broken or worse destroyed. I'm trying to pass on the fact to my kids. Take care of your stuff, try to see how long you can make it last. Gratuitous destruction to me says little of ones intellect.
Being that I almost dropped 2k on a Darjeeling Live Steam Locomotive, I'd have to kill those people in the video (Figuratively. Don't take me to word on that.) for doing that. There's a fine line between never growing up and being a bunch of drunken frat boys. Those people in the video are the latter.
That's one way to get rid of the old Bachmann junk. LOL One must be careful not to use phrases that may be...well...questionable and/or at worst insulting, regarding the mentally challenged.
