What was your latest purchase?

Yeah, that yellow is bothering me too. It's more Rio Grande Gold than Santa Fe Yellow. But I'm keeping my set anyways. After all, I'll never be able to justify what the IM Yellow Bonnets are going for.

 

I've sprung for the Monster Model Works warehouse - so far it's more fun than a one-legged man at an a**-kickin' contest!

 

Yeah, I know about the crazy IM prices.. But it is easy enough to just keep getting Red and Silver War Bonnets and add new numbers to them.

 

my latest was a Athearn Mogul, how quiet and smooth a loco can run ;-)

Two enormous boxes of supertrees.

Now I just need a gallon of spray paint, 100 clothes pegs, and half a ton of ground foam in eight different colors. >.< Oh yeah, and unlimited patience...

 

The Kato E6 "Super Komachi". Bought it from an online store, and even with shipping from Japan, it was about $100 less than what KatoUSA wants for it.

 

N scale Enthusiast PBNE MP15DC (even though the prototype is an SW9)

 

Purchased three prefab Woodland Scenic structures and thus far impressed with them. Also three Atlas Reading hoppers. Mostly just working on my new T Track layout and figuring how I want to scenic it.

 

Bought a gondola, hopper, decals, and paint. Nothing exciting.

 

Aside from the fact it's none of your d@mmed business. Nothing...at this time.:sweat:

 

CMW box cab delivery truck, with green cab (IH I think). probably gonna foobie it up for the local department store chain that was in decline in my chosen modeling area.

 

Detail parts. LOTS of 'em !!! Enough for five SD38-2s, two SD9s, two SD45s, and three GP20 high-nose engines. Picked up an Atlas Evans 52' gon for IHB. Nice car !!! Also ordered a muzzle for Barstow after that last post !!! Ha,ha,ha !!!

 

I got these today and they are MT's best weathered effort yet!!!!!

Mike, those look really nice. I really debated on those. I think MTL went to the next level with weathering on those and I hope they continue that trend.

BIG BOYS!! Yeah!!...that makes 6. Maybe I'll get one more next month if they're still around.

 

Just received two Atlas BN RS11s, Atlas PC two-bay hopper, and a large box of parts from M/T. M/T also included a bonus item: SPIDER !!! A huge, black-and-white tarantula lookin' thing that we saw crawl from the box !!! It definitely was NOT N scale !!! I informed them it's not in a returnable condition and asked how much I owe. Now I just have to get Amanda off the roof !!!
