Let's see your slide shows of your layout. Starting out the Howland & Pacific RR, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53YnMjPZodo&feature=colike Starting off with a Santa Fe Inspection Train, followed by some bridge shots with a Union Pacific Passenger train crossing Dry Gulch Bridge. Finishing off with two IM, ATSF Express Box cars. Thanks to Bruce A. for making the last shots possible. Enjoy the look-see. You've seen mine...let's see yours. Grin!
Nice. Since you just learned how, how about sharing some how to stuff. I don't have anything to share yet but hopefully soon. By the way what is your building? It appears to be some type of pole barn?
Lookin good! I've had a soft spot for the Santa Fe ever since I was a kid, as far back as I can remember. I still have the wooden Super Chief toy set that started it all. As for my layout, I unfortunately don't have one anymore. College bites. Next year its a priority to find a place with room for my trains. This is the first time in my entire life I haven't had some sort of rail project going. But I do have some videos of my uncle's layout. If you can't tell from the video footage, he's a bit of a New Haven fan. http://youtu.be/2ep5G7-fOZ0
The pole barn is a metal shed purchased from Home Depot in Redlands, Ca. This is not something I would recommend for housing a model railroad. When I worked on a farm we would have indeed called it a pole shed. COL. However, since I live in an older Mobile Home Park, it's a Train Shed. How to's: I kept poking around on my lap top until I found a program that will take my still's and as per my choice, I can add pictures to a grouping click on the prompter and I have a slide show. Now that is really telling you how...or not. Trouble is now, I have to go back and see if I can do it again. Grin! Thanks for giving this a look.
Love the video and a nice job on producing it. Nothing like three rail O Scale. Grin! Yep, I come by my love for the Santa Fe, quite naturally via a family of rails. Thanks for your response.
Daryl can you share how you made your water? I am in the process of getting ready to make a river and looking for ideas.
