    Finished the Niagra......
Kato GS4 conversion to NYC Niagra. Tender casting is installed on an Athearn Challenger centipede frame. What do ya think? I will likely build several more, one with smoke lifters

First casting was not used due to slight imperfection

Long, lean, and lanky and oozing power and speed even at rest. That long uncluttered boiler is what I like about some of the Northerns. Dang right outstanding job. I love it.

Very pretty, and brings back memories of seeing many of them at the Harmon, NY Engine Terminal in the late '40s. You have made a lovely model. Though your model has a minor glitch, all Niagara smoke boxes were painted with a dark gray graphite rather than silver as you show.

Is that shell a print or resin?
