Hello friends; I have wanted a scale model of the 1885 DeLorean rail runner for a while, but couldn't find anything close. Over the holidays I finally caved in and decided to scratch-build my own. I'm 90% satisfied with how it came out. I haven't yet taken it up to 88 scale MPH, but I think I'm safe since I an running on only 12v - a safe distance from 1.2 gigawatts. Please excuse the crudity of the model, I didn't have time to build it to scale or to paint it. Seriously though that's pretty neat! Any plans for an NTRAK module with a locomotive piled at the bottom of a ravine, a hover board with Doc and Clara, and a pair of firey tire tracks painted on clear plastic shooting off the bridge.
Nice! Now to get tiny flashing lites and a super accelerator, hits a scale 88? mph and whoosh!!! Off to another time zone! FUN! A tardis, now that would be a different mini-scene...........
