I finally took the plunge and installed a Micro into one of my N Scale Atlas H16 locos. It works great, but I notice compared to the other one (as yet unmodified) that the DCC enabled engine has a much higher pitched engine noise at the same speed. I checked one against the other (with their respective power packs) and the one I just switched over definitely does not sound the same as the other. Before the switch they sounded the same. I'm assuming the change has something to do with the DCC frequency being used by the LokSound decoder. I seem to recall there are some decoders where that was a configurable selection via CV, but I can't seem to find anything like that for the Micro. Is this possible via JMRI?
