The International & Great Northern was one of the many railroads controlled by the Missouri Pacific in the state of Texas. Here is my take on what one of their Ten Wheelers would look like. At the time I built this, twenty years ago, there was not much available in N scale so I modified an Atlas boiler shell, mounted it on a 4-6-0 Graham Farish chassis and hung an Arnold Rapido Pacific tender on the back end. I have since changed out the tender trucks to Kato so as to improve its performance.

And now with all the awesome miniature video equipment, we have to start to worry about detailing the insides of our tunnels. ;)

    Great video by the way.

Thanks for the kind reply... here another damaged spot on the bridge (and the effects of 70 years of rain and wheather elements on it!

Thanks for the kind words fellows. Russell, not me, but I do wish I knew how to edit the tunnels out. Jim

Paul, I never new about Super Bowl trains. Neat.

As for my video, I've been asked to include a reference to my camera. On epay go to mini-cameras. I recommend my camera for HO and up. Too big for N. The great thing about this camera is it fits perfectly in the Bmann low-sided On30 gondola. Jim

I might be one of the few who actually enjoys seeing "what's underneath". Gives me an idea of how a layout goes together. Great video!

Thanks John, After everything is dry and in place I generally get under the 'mountains' and rip out the cardboard so all my trains will make it through the tunnels. This layout started out as HO. When I decided to give On30 a go I had to rip out more because of the bigger trains. Jim

Yes, yes I did. Even though I only ran a few trains I had a good time and the layout ran well. Not bullet proof yet, but nice.
