I've had good luck with Sunlu ABS-Like resin. Not brittle and prints the fine details.
Been working on a couple files trying to make them printable. The articulated dump truck is a test print to check for spots that need attention....
My resin machine will print down to .08 mm, But that would be a very fragile part.
I would be up to do a few things. All I have are resin printers, But there is a filament printer in the house.

Did you try and print without the holes?
If you ever get around to printing them again I would angle them to the build plate a bit. That way you won't need holes in the bottom of your gons.
Took the leap and got a resin 3d printer and now I'm hooked. Sure could fill a DODX train in a hurry. now all I have to do is find some flat cars...
