Athearn F45 Are They DCC Ready

    Hello I'm new to DCC and starting to convert my fleet of locomotives over. Does anyone know or had experience in converting the Previous run of F45's to DCC. I can not remember if they were DCC ready or not.

    Any help would greatly appreciated.

    That'll help if they're N.

    If they're HO, there are variations. Blue Box kit engines certainly aren't.

    I have a newer N scale Athearn FP45. A TCS or ESU decoder is a drop-in fit.
