I'm sure this is not new but I generally keep up with what's available and I missed this one and had to pass it on.

A while back I started to use an old tablet with JMRI installed and a USB interface to control my Digitrax Loconet System.

It all worked fine but I found the small (8”) touch screen difficult so I connected a mouse for selection.

Being that there are only 2 USB ports on the tablet, when the battery gets low I have to quit and recharge.

In my search to solve the problem, I looked into WYFI and didn't find an easy fit. My search led me to Bluetooth where I discovered a Bluetooth wireless interface called BTlocoBridge. I simply plugged in my Loconet cable and paired it with the Bluetooth on the tablet and in minutes the problem is solved.

Not only did it solve the tablet charging problem, it is now wireless.

Hope this helps anyone with a similar problem.
    Happy Railroading
