We can also cover nicknames for unique locomotives. The AEM-7 was called a toaster.

Let's see IF I can get one?

Zebra Stripe? I always wanted this locomotive. Don't think they have a NEW one in N Scale? And I think the only one I know? I guess it was real?

I am really looking forward to this thread, really! I know nothing about real locomotives!

I'm digging the Seaboard "Citrus" livery :) Might have to look for N Scale at some point? They make them new? What locomotives are they?

Yes, it's a beautiful scheme. Broadway Limited did E-6s in it, released in 2018.

and so did Life-Like, released in 2000:

Note that the Life-Likes come with Rapido couplers.

I'm not sure what model E units the prototypes were.

This locomotive was an Alco RSD15. Railfans called it an Alligator.

LV called their SWs "Pups". The perfect power for the multitudes of branches served by the LV in eastern PA. Reliable power and well-dispersed, slip-resistant traction on imperfect track.

This is a variant of the NP "Pine Tree", used on passenger service F units. Known as "Butterknife". It does not show well enough in this view, but the colors are a two tone green: [IMG]
