Hi all. This (long) weekend is the Liverpool Model Railroad Exhibition, at the Whitlam Recreational Centre, Memorial Ave, Liverpool. Sat 9-5, Sun 10-5, Mon 10-4 For those interested, digital photos will be taken, though I can't vouch for the quality, and the images, or a link, posted. Gary. Gary. ------------------ Gary A. thanks Gary I would love to be going but have to work 12 hour shifts for the next three days for the sports carnival at olympic Park lol. Actually I was pretty upset when I saw the roster and realised i'd miss the exhibition . This is the best exhibition of its kind last year i was in america and missed it and this year because of the Olympics. Oh well there is always next year ------------------ Paul Cassar-# Member number 50 ICQ 61198217 http://users.bigpond.net.au/railroad2000

I have to agree with Bruce - to a point. I found several interesting displays there, particularly the casting and molding stand. Layouts and commercial/retailer stands were roughly 50/50, which is not good for 'Joe Public', but great for those of us who don't travel to every exhibition, nor every hobby shop, to catch up with the latest. Personal hightlights; - the HO historical display of NSW locomotives was magic, - the kits manufacturers of Australian outline, though mostly HO, - the casting and molding material supply business from the South Coast - they'll be getting some of my money for sure!, - a couple of new (to me) N Scale Australian layouts, including one from the NSW N Scale Group. I posted some photos - follow the Exhibition link. Gary. ------------------ Gary A. my highlight was the layout with the desert theme in N.. there was not much for the N scaler in us all there. the G scale layout was ... shal I say HUGE.. but even the drinks were lame! ------------------ RR: K, C, & Bird Butt Railroad - SP, NS, and ROCK admirer.
