Union Pacific has unveiled a new (well, more of a modified) livery for its locomotives going forward. The "Flag" livery, created in response to 9/11, has been on UP mainline power for the past 20 years already. The new scheme puts the flags on the sides of the nose, removes the blue wings from the nose herald and returns the "Union Pacific" wordmark to the body. https://www.up.com/aboutup/community...-it-220725.htm
Strange that they decided to finally abandon the art deco touch just as dozen of other companies are flocking to it.
Undecided at this point. Something looks off with the flags or maybe it's just the placement. I'll wait until I see one i person to decide or
I agree. I think they need to be smaller and placed a bit lower, perhaps at the same level as the nose logo. .... oh, and maybe Road of The Streamliners emblazoned under the cab windows.
