Hey Y'all, I hadn't come across this forum in years past and am so pleased to see how active it is. I have been gathering pieces for a few years now and am experimenting with my test layout table to get a hang of the basics. I'm planning a 55x90 table possibly with a dual level. I am in the process of re configuring our basement and thats what I will have space for. I thought it would be neat to have the top level be the larger of the two and do a lower level with a back and fourth loop to go about 18 inches down hidden by a mountain and back out to the front for a little town and yard to send trains to and fro. Once I start that whole mess I'd like to start a build thread as I think it will be very interesting if I pull it all together. I'm from Rhode Island, specifically the east bay/ south coast mass and my railroad will model primarily the feel of the postwar era with homage to the industrial powerhouse that Southern New England was. Also finally after a couple of years I finally touched a bit of paint and weathered this car. I can't believe how much I enjoyed that! Thanks for reading and happy to make your acquaintance!
