I've been looking online, but I can't find anything that looks like a small town two-lane concrete (not asphalt) street, preferably with parallel parking spaces (I'm using Design Preservation Models kits).

I looked at Noch and Busch streets, but I didn't see anything I liked. Any recommendations?

    Thanks for all comments.

Thanks, Mike. I'm going to look into Easy Streets now.

I used craft foam for my highways. Some weathering applied and then white colored pencil for the center line.

I’ve tried Easy Streets, Woodland Scenics roadmaking kit, and Arizona Rock and Minerals Concrete paving powder for some other areas, but they have a bunch of stuff that you could use for asphalt, cement, or concrete.

I liked the AZ stuff best-I thought the paving powder gave it good texture. But it was also the most time consuming-to mix and to dry.

Thanks for the info and photos. I'll check if there is any 1/4" Gray foam board at Lowe's and Home Depot.

I've bought most of my 20"x30" foam board from Michael's (craft store), Hobby Lobby, Office Max, Office Depot, or Staples. Last week I picked up one sheet of gray foam board, and 2 sheets of white from Hobby Lobby. 20"x30" single sheets with one side Gray, black, yellow, blue, green, or red and the other side white are usually available at Hobby Lobby, and the other stores sometimes also sell white sheets in 3-packs or 5-packs.

Thanks, Dave. I'll give the stores you mentioned a try.
