I remember those Tyco transformers well. Those things got Damned HOT !!! Surprised "TYCO" wasn't branded into my right hand !!! I also ran two trains with the 2nd one. Came across a Model Power (?) F something that ran the opposite direction of my Tyco C430 and F9. I was the ONLY one that had trains going in different directions !!! Of course, this was a "couple" years ago !!!
I think MoPac may have got those from a domestic cottage modeler who goes by the 'handle' Chuck the Printer. I got a bunch of his detail parts going back many years. There are several of these folks on eBay. Sent from my SM-J737T using Tapatalk
Believe it or not, flea bay. I it’s one person who is making them and painting them. Depending on what they are. Each bag is from $8.50 - $10. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LOL... flea-bay-flation. Those detail items used to sell for $5 to $8 10 years ago. The stuff he makes is pretty good. Other guys sell interiors for DPM/Woodland Scenic structures... or any other similar city buildings. When I was an 'active buyer'... I would use eBay Bucks to get this stuff even cheaper. More like inflation in general. With the stock market being crazy in the past few years. For as my inspection, his products are well made. They will give Woodland Scenic/DPM a run for the money. Yes, his products are extremely well made. For this I don’t mind paying for the adjusted prices. I might have to go back and pick up some other stuff that he was selling. Chuck has some new items I don't believe were on his site 5+ years ago. BTW... check out vendor Railroading10 as well. Different detail stuff. Sent from my SM-J737T using Tapatalk
I am seeing at least 5 items I really need I need tents for the homeless encampment planned behind the old theater in Georgetown. Along with some 55 gallon barrels so they can have some safe burn barrels to stay warm at. Some bundles of railroad ties in an area I am planning to highlite rail maintenance. Some misc loads for both flatcars and the team track area. I definately see some purchases in my future....
I see the other guy has some different things for sure! lol the Sasquatch!!! ROFLMFAO!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I kinda wish I had one! The burning transformer smell is what says "Model Trains" to me. For years I described a hot electrical smell as "model train smell."
Well I think it is safe to say his business is gonna increase for a while anyway. He has some really cool stuff. Very smart the way he stages his stuff with other items he sells in the pictures. Smart marketing, makes you want the other items in the scenes Most people just take a picture of the items with a white background. So they have been around for a long time? The seller.
Just received NSE Penn Central track inspection car. This thing is BEAUTIFUL !!! Never knew this existed. Only Bicentennial anything I've seen for PC.
