Its pretty much dry and when i put the picture on that mountain area its close. After a couple of washes to bring out the cracks will bring it really close
Well, I am going to take a break from the layout. I can run cars and trains, but I'm not going to do anything else till the doctors can come up with a plan for my hands. They are getting worse all the time. Its starting to hurt just to type on the computer. I have a better time doing one letter at a time on my tablet. My left hand is the worst. I have had tests and have doctors visits lined up. Will see what they do. I am sure that the X-rays should tell them whats happening.
I have enjoyed the read so far, and looking forward to more. Hope the docs can figure something out for you.
Got shot in hands and more meds to take here. I started to take the Bli NW2 locomotive Saturday. I had to quit but got back to it a bit at a time. I have it all ready to go together. It won't have sound but i don't care about that anyway. One shot of this fun. Smokey
Just a update to let you know i got the dcc chipset on its way. Also, I got a Air Compressor coming. Mt doctor still using needle and gave me another med. Seems to be working.I still felt the pain when this snow storm started coming in yesterday. We got 1/3 inch of ice and 3-4 inches of wet snow. Still snowing light sometimes flurries. Be glad when this mess is done...yeah that...
I also am finally sending the little 50 ton switcher from Bachmann back for repairs. I keep forgetting to do that. Gave it to my wife this time. See if she can remember! I also bought 50 little trees 20-25 cm tall. That should help with the blank places on the mountain and around the houses. Im, going to have to start writing stuff down so i won't forget to do stuff....
I got my new air compressor and the dcc chip so i did some work on my little engine Need two more coats of paint and it should be about done. I can't get my fingers to handle the small wires on the new chip.Tomorrow is another day! Shots below
Got the last coats on the engine.. I had to do the cab separate from the engine. It has windows and i found a few places on it that had no paint on it at all. All done. Letting it dry and can pit it all back together. The hand grabs are the most headache. Shots below
Wow, Ebay must have air mail now. My trees were not due here till the 20th! Nice looking trees! about 2 inches tall. Shots belows
I did my wiring thing today. It looks bad but i have never been good at these super small wires. Wire a house, no problem, Wiring a N scale engine..major headache for me and my hands!! I ran it on the layout and runs great!I have to put hear shrink on the wires yet. Just wanted to make sure i had it right first. Will have to wait till the main body is on before i can wire the rear light. Fun... Shots below of the rats nest. Laters
I just have to find my shrink wrap. Its here somewhere in the jungle. That will be tomorrows project.
Can't wait to find out how that will work out. I was fine with O and HO but think after 30 years I will have the same issues. Wiring the tracks, including make-shift DCC, was easy compared.
Layout wiring was easy compared to those little engines. Can't find my stash of shrink tubing. I know i had some but need to go to the store and get more, that way i can find my stash. Laters
Its still ugly but i thought i would show the little engine running on the track. Still having issue with headlight. I think i need to find the option for lower voltage first. I may have to replace the current head light Before i can get the cv,s to work. Will figure it out. Just takes time. I have lots of that. Video below
