Well, I am glad i have finally finished the plaster and after Christmas, will see if i can work on any of the ground work. My hands are still hurting from all this past week working on the railroad. Seeing the doctor this afternoon to see what the doctors say about my hands. I have pain in other areas but my hands are getting really bad. They were talking about shots but not sure if that will work or not. Hope so. Anyway thats all that is happening right now. Merry Christmas to you all! Smoke
Best wishes fixing your wrist. Mine is not repairable. When I was 12 my hand was dislocated and shoved up my arm. Two broken bones and nerve damage. I was crank starting an old tractor. Have a good Christmas and enjoy the trains. Rich
Yes, Arthritis. My hands shaking and in pain. Right now he did a shot to help with pain and Pills to keep it up. Guess I will see what happens. I had to change settings twice now to slow down needle as i shake too much. Its a PITA to scroll the mouse around with the shaking hands. I guess i will see what the doctor will say next visit. If it gets bad again i am going to Hospital for another shot. Laters, Smokey

Well, I ran out of air. I could have bought 3 or 4 air compressors for the amount of canned air i have bought over the last 15 years!! I gotta go and buy another 6 back of air. Wish i could figure out how to run the air brush off of oxygen... I am trying to figure out how to tell them i went into double overtime... Anyway, shots below before i ran out of air...
I did some brush work on the rock facings see how it looks. Ok, But nothing to brag about. On some good news, My dcc chipset came in today for My new S-2. It works great with the dcc chip installed. It would run at slow speed right out of the box so to speak. So i have my Christmas present! Even having to put my own dcc chip into it, Its a good looker and runs great! Will get a video after i clean it up and put the hand rails and other stuff on it. Laters
I have that engine running so slow that i think Mike at Fifer hobbies would like it! Its a really good engine. I have been working on water today. I got all the river done. I may have to touch it up. I need to finish the creek on the left side and i need to do the right side yet. My hands starting to hurt so i am done for this day. Shots of the fun below. Laters

Im going to pay for it but like others on the internet we are tired of white. So now we can get tired of battleship grey. I used all the grey i had and am low in the black, so i need to get more paint supply's along with brushes. This plaster eats brushes like its hungry! My hands need traction! That grey was a bad idea. It dried a different color..Dark grey! almost charcoal! Now i have black instead of white... Gonna get a different color of grey and some more cheap brushes. I ran out of this grey so i will get a full quart of the grey. I will pick up different swatches of greys and see which one i like best. I know it will cost a bit but i already spent about the same than having to do it again. Maybe i can get it together by the beginning of February. Or sooner. Right now my hands are saying give me a break. Laters
I found a picture of the old layout showing the grey i was after. Got a good match so its gonna be a more of a lite grey with a hint of blue to it. Washes were a spray of black washes. Now i can paint later this evening. See how that looks tomorrow!
I started painting it this afternoon. I think my lower back has declared war on me! That and my hands. I am done for the day. Have to wait and see how dark it goes this time. I put that picture of the mountains on the background after the grey had a chance to dry some. The older picture shows a bit darker, but i had used washes on that mountain.
