It was a good weekend. Didn't get all of my "chores" done. The laser enclosure is mostly done. Still need to finish the exhaust. Here is a pic of the interior lighting filtered through the viewing window. I did spend some time in the storage units. Still no joy on the finish sander and exhaust fan for the paint booth. Maybe I will find something in the Portland area this week while we are there. Stay safe,
I did not make any progress on the railroad. I did have my first stop out of the house non health care related. On the way home from cardiologist we stopped at LHS to pick up a few supplies I need for the layout. I should be posting a mid week update. Saturday I reached a rehab milestone. Saturday I walked my first continuous mile on the treadmill with my new aortic valve. Yesterday I was cleared to start walking on easy trails. My sternonomy needs another week to heal before I'm allowed to drive then I'm going to start walking the old PRR line which is now a paved trail. I
No modelling this weekend as out at an exhibition as per my other thread. The GP9 is a recently finished reworked model, does that count?
Not much modeling this past weekend... The lawn mower done went blades up, so Moose had to mow the lawns with an electric weed whacker. Then Mrs Moose had to use copious amounts of smelling salts to revive Moose. Why you-didn't-ask-but-Moose-is-going-to-tell-you-anyway? Because Moose put fuel in da truck for first time in, gulp, two years, and $150 later, Moose was on the ground out cold...
Why didn't Mr. Moose go buy a new lawn mower? Is that train money instead Rather cut yard with electric weed whacker and save money for trains. It's a joke. Mr. Moose be careful of the heat, just saying!
Moose did today... It's all shiny and blue, matches the truck. Moose guess that's as good a reason to buy it as any.
