Who is selling and are they just getting out of the hobby or changing roadnames?

    I am selling!
Have to reduce the collection because I have to slim down to an apartment.
    All pieces are collector items.
And only UP I am selling (and a little bit of BNSF if you push me ;-). )
    ......
And no worries, I won't quit!
Need to finish the Oakland Mole layout first......

    Have a nice WE!

    Best,
    Sven

    Hi Sven

Sounds like you have the same problem as me. Too much stuff for the space avaiable. I'm having to recycle and retire some of my layouts. I started by stripping Cuyahoga completely and those baseborads will form the core of Tapton Junction , which will probably be my last BIG Z layout, British Rail in the 1990s But looking in the layout shed tonight there are five Z layouts ( Shasta, Republic Steel, Port Shaughty and Hakuho, and young Brooklyns Bavarian layout 'Bad Brooklin' ) Five mountain bikes. a Tumble dryer. chest freezer and most importantly the beer rack!

    I can't move, it's that rammed!

The question is " why should I keep the locos and rolling stock when the layout has been scrapped? "

Its a good question, My huge 1950/60s collection that ran on Cuyahoga NKP, Pennsy, NYC etc looks pretty redundant now but...

    "Never say Never again"

Nice to see the UP Turbine in action. Mine still gets a run out every now and then

Shasta starts its 2024/25 retirement tour in the U.K at the end of the month ( see seperate thread coming soon) and when that is finished I have all my UP/SP stuff to consider

    Thank you!
I did not know that, I never came across this opportunity here.
