I took this photo at the north end of Squamish in the early spring of 2005. One of the last of the True BCR trains after the CN takeover. Things started getting strange later in 05 with derailments and such. I really like the :)Phantom Blue paint scheme that BCR used on the GEs near the end. Even though some refer to it as Bankrupcy Blue:(, the Blue Looks really classy on the last order of new Dash9s that BCR bought.

    Nice catch!

I thought the late blue scheme was OK. Never cared for the r/w/b at all. I'll never lose my love for the green/dogwood days. Guess it's time to plug in the old Pentrex video again!

    Sandro,

They are both beautiful units, how about a shot with the N scale model in action on your layout.

I like those BCR units. Comfy seats in the cab, they have the high-back reclining seats like the CPR AC's and the cab set up of the CN units. Best of both worlds :D
